Why We Host the Annual General Meeting

The SBRA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is our community’s premier civic forum. It is a dedicated town hall designed to bridge the gap between South Brentwood residents and the leaders shaping our neighborhood. Because navigating local government can be daunting, the AGM brings the decision-makers directly to you.

This Year's Format: Virtual Accessibility & In-Person Connection

To make participating as convenient as possible, our core AGM is broadcast live as a Zoom meeting, allowing you to log in right from your living room.

However, we know nothing beats true neighborly camaraderie. That is why we are thrilled to bring back an in-person experience! This year, we are hosting a live Member Watch Party at the home of one of our local SBRA members for our dues-paying members. It’s the perfect way for active members to watch the town hall together, catch up with old friends, and meet new neighbors in a warm, community setting. Become a dues-paying member and join us!

Connect with Leadership: Hear direct updates from our L.A. City Council representatives, County Supervisors, State Legislators, and LAPD Senior Lead Officers.
Tackle Core Neighborhood Issues: Get the baseline facts on public safety trends, upcoming land use and zoning proposals, traffic planning, and local greening initiatives like the San Vicente Walkability project.
Amplify Your Voice: Engage in live Q&A sessions to voice your concerns, ask tough questions, and ensure our neighborhood's priorities are championed at City Hall.
